SUMMER CLIMB - MANAKA TA BAY!

PROCESS FLOW OF CLIMBERS AND GENERAL ROLES OF TWG
STEP 1: WELCOME BOOTH
• Arrival of Guests/ Tourists
• Welcome Booth (operated by Mountain Guides/ Station)
• Mt. Guide to led the guests to the CTIPC
STEP 2: CTIPC
• CTIPC staff – received the guests/ tourist
• Logbook registration
• Fill up application to climb
• Payment of the climbing fee (P500.00)
• Issuance of the climbing permit
• Orientation-Briefing (CTIPC and Mountain Guide)
• Distribution of Climbers checklist
• Distribution of ID
• Send off – Responsibility assumed by Mt. Guide
STEP 3: MOUNTAIN GUIDE
• Coordination with Guest/ Tourist
• Booking requirement for Hotel Accommodation (Kidapawan or Agco)
• Marketing for food and other supplies
• Coordinate for the provision of Mountaineering equipment
• Coordinate provision of transportation
STEP 4: TRANSPORT GROUP
• Received the Guest/ Tourist
• Transport the guest/ tourist safely to the designated destination (Agco or Kidapawan terminal)
• Fix fare – No over pricing unless properly arranged for “PAKYAW” with guest/tourists
STEP 5: MANDARANGAN CHECKPOINT

• Core Team (CTIPC, PNP, DENR-CENRO, LGU CENRO, BRGY. ILOMAVIS, CTO) – Control Station
• Medical/Rescue Team: (KIDCERU, RED CROSS, CHO-HEMS, EDC) On Stand by
• Mountain Guide to submit climbing permit and receipt for verification
• Mountain guide to submit checklist Zero Basura to LGU CENRO/ DENR-CENRO
• Mountain guide to submit Climbers checklist for notation and verification
• Send off to the trail
STEP 6: MATIAO CHECKPOINT
• Core Team ( CTIPC ,DENR-CENRO, LGU CENRO) – Control Station
• Mountain Guide to submit climbing permit and receipt for verification
STEP 7: VENADO CHECKPOINT
• Core Team (CTIPC, PNP, DENR-CENRO, LGU CENRO, CTO) – Control Station
• Medical/Rescue Team: (KIDCERU, RED CROSS, 505 SAR) On Stand by
• Mountain Guide to submit climbing permit and receipt for verification
• Advisory to all Kidapawan Trail users guest/tourist – NO CLIMB to the PEAK after 1PM except overnight campers
• Control Station- 1 Entry/ 1 Exit Policy (Except climbers from Kidapawan-Makilala-Magpet with existing agreement) – Payment of P 500.00 to all exit climbers
STEP 8: BACK TRAIL / MATIAO CHECK POINT
• Core Team (CTIPC ,DENR-CENRO, LGU CENRO) – Control Station
• Mountain Guide to submit climbing permit and receipt for verification
STEP 9: ARRIVAL AGCO/ MANDARANGAN CHECKPOINT
• Core Team (CTIPC, PNP, DENR-CENRO, LGU CENRO, BRGY. ILOMAVIS, CTO) – Control Station
• Medical/Rescue Team: (KIDCERU, RED CROSS, CHO-HEM, EDC) On Stand by
• Mountain Guide to submit climbing permit and receipt for verification
• Mountain to submit all “Basura bags” – LGU CENRO/ DENR CENRO for weighing, verification and validation
• LGU CENRO/ DENR CENRO – to sign release/ OK of the guests/ tourist
• Zero Basura Violators: Guest/ tourist minimum penalty P 2,000; Mt. Guide P 500; Porter P 300 – No payment no Release at the control checkpoint
STEP 10: CTIPC
• Mountain Guide to submit permit and receipt
• Issuance of the Certificate of Climb
• Send Off
• End of Activity
TARIFFA
Climbing Fee:
• Foreign: P 750.00
• Local: P 500.00

Mountain Guide Fee: Per Day
• Foreign : P 1,000 - 1,500
• Local : P 800

Porter Fee: Per Day
• P 350.00

Habal-Habal: Motorcycle
• P 85/Head
• P 250 Pakyaw

Jeep: Average 12 Pax
• P 85/Head
