Family and friends made turning 71 great fun with two parties down and one more just "girls" to come! The Lord has blessed me with caring people in my world and I am truly grateful.

Thanks, Sisters, for all your prayers, good wishes and e-mails. Now let's keep this momentum going. I promise to come in here regularly and bore you with what's doing in my world. Can I count on y'all to post???

I am with you Dana. I think it would be nice for everyone to join in to the group again. So heres my update. LOL
My family has grown since April. We adopted a rescue golden retriever who is 5 yrs. old and has very curly hair. She was used by her former owner to have puppies for him to sell. She had had 4 litters before she was rescued and spayed. This dog has brought us so much joy. I would like to rescue another one if a good choice arises. By the way her name is Sandy.
My other news is that my hubby retired January 1st after putting in 36 yrs. It is an adjustment but one we are enjoying.
I will also be checking back in to see what is happening to everyone else. Have a great day everyone !
