IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED....
Since surgery, I am doing just great.. got a steele plate running down the front of my ankle and my foot and 7 screws..surprisingly, I have NO PAIN... doesn’t make sense to me but makes me happy... I have a cast from my knee to the tip of my toes..
The first few days were ruff.. I had a wheelchair but it would NOT roll thru this thick carpet and I was so frustrated!! I am too clumbsy for crutches.. and with a knee replacement on the left knee, TOO, I did not feel comfortable hopping on it with a walker.. John went and bought me a power chair.. WOW, now I am really "HELL ON WHEELS"
I am doing laundry, cooking, and he built me a ramp going out to the deck.. I go in and out as I please.. but ....... when I go out, I close my eyes...good thing the deck is big.. hahahaha
I go back to the dr Tues to have the cast removed, stitches taken out and another cast put on.. get a new cast every 2 weeks for 8 weeks.. but sll in sll, Im doing good...
Havent been no further than the deck since I came home last Thursday but am going to venture out to dinner with hubby and friends tomorrow night....I am blessed with so many good friends.. Ive had to cook dinner 1 time... between friends and neighbors, they really look out for us.. I have a kinda good hubby too, LOL....

Hey LucyMae, I didn't know that you had surgery, but am very happy you are in no pain! Hallelujah!!!! I guess we are going to have to call you HotRod Mama from now on, I mean with your power chair and all.... lol. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers my dear friend.

Isn't the internet wonderful, Lucy, I knew you would be alright, you are one of the most gutsy women I have ever known.I am so glad you have such a good man to love and protect you. Question, did you ever post your wedding photos on the website for the gals to see ? They were wonderful, you are our Cinderella.
