Shade coul't find a place to sleep. He had heard a lot of comotion on the deck and went to check it out. Nothing was going on when he got up there, but he did see Kayne sleeping infront of the fire. This gave him the opertunity to incompasitate him for a while. Shade reached into his belt pouch(he had conviscated some new pants, boots, belt, pouch, and a few other items. like Besnell he didn't bother with a shirt) and pulled out a green vial. he put a drop of the liquid on each of Kaynes eyelids. **That should keep him asleep for a while.** To test it out he jumped onto Kaynes stomach. When nothing happened he went back up to the crows nest and sat perched on the edge, legs dangling off the side, watching the bow of the ship cut through the waves like a knife.
