For a moment, the air above the ships deck rippled, then it seemed to tear, and starry sky could be seen, and battle could be heard. A huge form fell through the portal, screaming painfully, and hit the deck with a very loud >kathud<, as quickly as it had opened, the portal closed. The strange, obviously badly wounded, creature tried to push itself up on its thickly muscled arms, collapsed, and lost consiousness.
