**A young human, or what apears to be a human, flings the door of the tavern wide and dashes inside. She slumps against the door for a moment, then regains her composure and walks to the bar. She has a pretty face, dark eyes and long black hair. She is clad in a tight top, loose pants and a long coat. She leans on the bar, orders a something-on-the-rocks and flashes the bartender a grin that would be winning but for the long sharp canines, the mark of the vampire. Yet Ariadne is not a true vampire. Born of no clan, passed through no ritual, Ariadne had her throat torn out by a demon. It turned her from a femme fatale to a femme immortale, plus some other interesting side-effects. She gets her drinks and leans on a wall, sipping it and looking for others, like or unlike herself**
