I agree with some of the points that many students brought up, cell phones can be very distracting for other students who are learning, trying to concentrate, etc.. yes, they are nice to have in emergencies, but I think its important to think about.. 'is this call really an emergency'?

also, maybe NAS as a school needs to do a better job clarifying when students can use their phones, etc.. maybe we should say 'no phones out in the classroom' unless it really is an emergency call???
