Mariana,
take a look. Read the answers and say if I answered what the professor wants. What do you think?

2- What type of communication sessions are there in conferences?

One type of communication sessions in the conferences is the one that will be shown in the 2011 conference of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) that will be held in March 26-29 in Chicago, Illinois. The conference will serve as a meeting place for applied linguists to generate ideas, cross disciplinary boundaries, and disseminate research about issues and concerns in language policy, second language acquisition, language pedagogy and assessment, discourse analysis, and other areas of applied linguistics.
Nationally and internationally, the AAAL conference has a reputation as a comprehensive and stimulating conference including in-depth colloquia and paper sessions, topical and thought-provoking plenary presentations, excellent book exhibits, and plentiful opportunities for networking.
Another one is the TESOL Annual Convention and Exhibit that took place in Boston in March 2010. They discussed among other the following subjects: Content Lesson Planning with the Internet – the lesson plan introduces a new way of looking at planning lessons. With a structured format and classroom example, it could help your teacher trainees look at lesson planning in a whole new light; another lesson plan presented will help students change from simple past to past progressive using a very timely news article along with a topic very much debated.
We can count on with European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning (EUROCALL) is an association of language teaching professionals from Europe and world-wide, which aims to:
• promote the use of foreign languages within Europe
• provide a European focus for the promulgation of innovative research, development and practice relating to the use of technologies for language learning
• enhance the quality, dissemination and efficiency of CALL materials
• support Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
A EUROCALL conference is held in August/September annually in a European country, and is open to anyone interested in e-learning and languages. EUROCALL supports research in the field of Computer-Aided Language Learning, through scholarships, awards, and Special Interest Groups
