Subject: STOLEN TRAILER ALERT!!!

The band Chevelle is in town to do a few shows and their equipment trailer was stolen yesterday (05/09/07) from the parking lot at the Clarion Dallas park Central hotel at approximately 11:00 am. The trailer-containing ALL of their instruments, gear, apparel, and related items-was taken by itself; the boosters left the van. The trailer is a light gray KZ Cargo trailer with Illinois plates 57002. All or most of the items inside the trailer are marked with a Chevelle logo or stencil.

If you see such a trailer or come across any "official" or "authentic" Chevelle items on eBay, please contact local law enforcement or you can email the band at thestolenchevellegear@hotmail.com .

Needless to say, they've had to cancel a ton of tour dates as a result of this theft.

I had my equipment trailer broken into at a show...luckily we were set up in the venue and they only got a few cables and empty hard cases. I couldn't imagine having the entire band's gear robbed. This sucks as bad as getting a race car stolen....or worse since this is their living. Hope they can find it!
