Subject: Brazilians Go home!

My comments from LTE sent in by Richard Pellitier

The Brazilians are the worse thing that has happened to Framingham in a long time and most people are aware of it but are afraid to speak out.
We are not afraid to speak out and are happy to tell it like it is.

The Brazilians for the most part have brought their document fraud and corrupt lifestyles here and noone seems to care.
They have turned a once quiet and nice family oriented town, to a town that allows drugs, prostitution, and continous lawbreaking. A true third world town in the making.
They haven't been good neighbors, and should be ashamed of themselves.

If it wasn't for Jim and Joe Rizoli speaking out about all of this, this town would be engulfed in corruption more than it is now. Enough damage has been done, and I truly feel the illegal Brazilians have gotten the picture. We've exposed them for their corrupt ways and they are leaving with their tail between the legs.

We won't tolerate their lawbreaking ways and were happy to see them go.
It's been a five year battle but we can honestly say we have won! The town has suffered greatly for it and it has cost cost us millions of dollars, and still is costing us millions of dollars.

Good to see them go, but on the other side the Brazilians are being replaced by the Mexicans, and other South American lawbreakers.
Framingham is a magnet to the illegal slave trade and I guess as long as we have companies wanting their labor we will always have this illegal alien problem.

Hopefully we can rebuild this town and make this town not so welcoming for illegal aliens and their criminals ways in the furure.

Jim Rizoli

Pelletier: Brazilians good for Framingham

Framingham used to be a ghost town before the Brazilians arrived. Thanks partly to Jim and Joe Rizoli, it's going to revert back to a ghost town. The Brazilian community is made up of hard working people with dreams like everyone else. The economy is part of the reason for some departures, but make no mistake, Brazil's economy is well and thriving.

I just returned from Brazil and the country is definitely doing better. But there are places all over the country where there is still poverty due to low wages. Brazil invests in their own country, opposite of what America is doing for its people. Now that some Brazilians are leaving, services offered by the town will have to downsize.

Now that the Brazilians are leaving, people of Framingham who are on welfare will have no reason to blame the Brazilians. No reason why Americans should be out of work. We will see what repercussion this will have on Framingham.

I want the Brazilian people to stay because they have a lot to offer to Framingham. Immigration legislation will be on the table soon and the Brazilians will have a chance to stay in America. All Brazilians need to have patience; the economy will improve and once again, America will be the place to be.

RICHARD PELLETIER JR.,
Framingham
