I am asking the Board of Selectman to add this to the Spring Town Warrant.
To see if Framingham's elected representative Town Meeting will vote to add this provision to the Town Bylaws

Article VIII under Businesses and Commerce Provision.

Section 5. Business Licenses

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Ordinance, the Town Business

License Department and the Town Police Dept. shall enforce the requirements of

this Ordinance as follows.

A. It is unlawful for any business entity to knowingly recruit, hire for

employment, or continue to employ, or to permit, dispatch, or instruct any

person who is an unauthorized alien to perform work in whole or part within

the Town. An authorized representative of any business entity that applies

for any business license in the Town shall sign an affidavit, prepared by the

Town Attorney, affirming that the business entity does not knowingly utilize

the services or hire any person who is an unauthorized alien.

if it is determined that the business owner is an unauthorized alien or

utilizes the services of an any person that is an unauthorized alien they will

not be issued a business license to operate anywhere in the Town of Framingham.

Any businesses that already have a business license on next renewal of said business

license will have to go through the same process as above to be reissued a new license.

All applicants will be asked if they have complied with above procedures by Board Of Selectman

when they (Business Owner) goes before them (Selectman) to discuss the matter with them.

Pass any vote or take any action relative thereto
