A homeless man was arrested after a stabbing today on Beaver Street in Framingham and charged with assault with the intent to murder or maim, police said.

Eber A. Rivera, 23, of Framingham, was arrested around 2:15 a.m. after police responded to a report of a stabbing at 270 Beaver St., police said.

Rivera was charged with assault with the intent to murder or maim, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a knife), assault with the intent to commit a felony, assault and battery on a disabled or injured
