Date Posted: 16:08:49 11/09/08 Sun In reply to: Peter 's message, "Waiting Room" on 19:55:20 10/11/08 Sat I rarely knew for certain what would happen, but always feared a buttock injection and my fear was always justified. I was never concerned about what others thought when I went in, probably because I thought they all feared the same thing. I wasn't afraid of the shot - just where I would get it. My main concern was for the waiting patients not to know I had a shot in the bottom when I left. Once, however, at an inoculation centre I inadvertently betrayed it because I was wearing a shirt loose outside my trousers when I went in but had it tucked into my trousers when I left so that it was obvious the trousers came down for the injection. >How did you feel in the waiting room at the doctors if >you knew or suspected you might get an injection.
