Date Posted: 13:04:58 07/20/10 Tue I just returned from the hospital after being admitted for three days with a serious infection in my foot. believe me when i say that there was nothing erotic or exciting about hobbling into ER trying to get treatment for the pain! it was even more frustrating being roomed with a crotchetty old man who like a newborn constantly whinned and cried about everything under the sun, preventing me from getting rest while constantly having blood drawn from me after each dose of IV infusion of antibiotics. almost wnted to get better right away to get away from that incessant racket. then, finally something great and unexpected happened. a compassionate nurse arranged to move me to the infection ward( i was wondering why i didn't go there first!). it gets better. it turned out that my room mate was a young female. from the conversations behind the curtain i gathered she broke an arm while playing college sports. i think they played field hockey since some of her visiting friends kept talking about things that happened in her absence. at least was more interesting listening to them than that miserable old man! now the great part! it turned out that unlike me who was getting IV treatment, hers were IM shots!and judging by her reactions she was so resistent to them. not so much crying and fighting like a baby, but more like stubbornly debating why it must be done that way. i think altogether she got 5 shots of different things, since i heard her say something like the first two hurt so much and i heard her getting three while i was there. if her first two were anything like the ones i heard her get, then i can see why she said that. hearing her cry openly during the injections, and softly and quietly after the nurse left left little to imagination. my only regret is i could see anything! i tried to look under the curtain whithout making much noise one the second one, but all i saw was the nurse's body over her :~( . i did catch glance of her when she walked to the bathroom by my bed. very attractive, and great lower body of an athelete. almost was hoping to stay longer. it was becoming addictive. besides its rare i suppose for opposite sex patients be roomed together like that. but i think the place was so overcrowded and i got thank that old dofus for being such a loud mouth for my unusual fortune.
