Well, well, well,. Isabel was something! We had enough trees topple to build a whole new school system for our county. Miraculously, for the number of trees that fell, it seemed God had a protective bubble over buildings around here. You would not believe the number of trees that just missed buildings. It is a good thing. Other than the trees, it was not that bad. The wind was strong from about 12pm on Thursday til about 9pm Thursday. I definitely will not be around for a category 3 or higher 'cane. We were without power from early Thursday to about 710pm Sunday night. We were without water from Thursday afternoon until Friday morning. Our neighborhood has pitched in to help each other get thier yards straight. So, that was cool. Everything is almost back to normal, but there are still a few reminders Isabel left behind. I hope everyone up your way came out ok and there was no damage. I hope everyone's families are safe and sound. Don't be strangers! Give me a hollar sometime: 252-771-2311 or 757-576-7754, email me at: ramfan11@earthlink.net. Everyone take care!
