Subject: DD is a VA pageant girl. Just went to MD for the TM state where she competed with other VA pageant girls and won. I wasn't questioning where they are from, I was questioning whether or not the rules or judging styles change from state to state for the same pageant system. DD has done well in other pageants both in this state and abroad. Sometimes she wins and sometimes she loses. We know the name of the game and we deal with it. TM is the only system were my dd has come off the stage BEFORE crowning and said that she didn't want to return. Not saying that others don't have a positive experience, just not for us.

VA girls have more of an "it factor" than other northern states. I've looked at web site photos... VA pageant girls and other southern states just seem to have a different "total package".
