Aruni Rajapakse (Sri Lanka) was also expected to participate at Miss Universe 2007, however she was unexplicably withdrawn from the pageant.
*This year the delegate from the United States will be under the name of America instead of the United States in the past they would always go under United States
*Originally France, Korea and Denmark had selected Diane Barthelemy, Lin MiJeong and Lea Hvidt respectively. Recently, they were replaced by Alexandra Gaguen, Minkyo Kim and Engel Lauritzen for no public reason.
