There are structures on Mars with so regular shapes that they would immediately be interpreted as ancient ruins if they were on Earth. Also the so-called face is interesting, not because it looks like a face on distance, but because near pictures of it shows that it once were a regular oval pyramide-like formation that has collapsed, and due to the collapse one can see that it has hollow areas inside.
Mars also has a lot of regular segmented, tube-like or worm-like structures of every shape, and regular pyramids positioned in exact distances from each other. I do not claim these necessarily are constructions, but video about formations that look away from these, obviously the aims at making people look away from those more interesting things on Mars.

Each year the kids go through a cycle or assessments and treatments with the following stages.
- Costant surveillance, protocollizations and reviewing of the attitudes, behavior and body functions of the kid, both by manually and by electronic means.
- A neuropsychological exam, partly done by electrodes and recording equipment attached to or inserted into all body areas, including the intimate openings.
- A physical examination by which inspections are done in most body areas with x-ray equipment, ultrasound probes and endosopes inserted into all body openings and especially the body openings in the pelvic zones.
- Medications to control feelings, behavior growth and pubertal development.
- Physiological or surgical adjustments in body areas, and especially in the genital zone and the rest of the pelvic area, mostly done through inserted endoscopes.
The examinations are especially extensive at certain age levels and are then typically done under general anesthesia with the child hsopitalized in an intensive care unit within the school itself or an annex used by several schols in the areea, These afe levels are school beginning at age 6-7-8, preteen period at 11-12, and puberty period at 15-17.

Mark Thursday June 19th on your calendars for the highly successful Neighbour's Night Out in conjunction with CPAT (Crime Prevention Association of Toronto) from 4pm in East Lynn Park.
Bring a picnic and blanket for supper and a food item for the sharing table and get to know your neighbours! 55 Division, Toronto Fire, CPAT and the water truck will be there.
In addition, the East Lynn Farmers' market is going on from 3-7 and there will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 6pm. There will be activities for the kids and lots of fresh produce from local farmers.

I was reading about local food, and it seems there is a movement to make Toronto markets concentrate on local farmers. It seems that much of what is sold could otherwise be resale produce from California or Mexico.
I am not sure who is organizing the market, but it would be great if we had only local producers.

Volunteers needed for 54 Division Graffiti busting July 21st -- Sarah, 11:02:25 07/10/07 Tue [2]
Police from 54 Division are looking for volunteers to help them paint over graffiti in East York.
They have paint and rollers, just bring yourselves. "It's a community attitude of tolerance. People have to start accepting that this is not tolerable."
For more information on the July 21 graffiti eradication day, call PC Gary Powell at 416-808-5429.
Witnesses to graffiti crime are asked to call police at 416-808-2222.

I am organizing a night for the 5 year old and under crowd to meet up for soccer in the park. Lots of families on East Lynn have already responded positively - the more the merrier! No skills required - just a chance for the kiddies to chase a soccer ball while the parents chat.
So far Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6:30 sounds best, but I am open to suggestions...we'll probably start in June. If you are interested in joining in, email me at joma@interlog.com.

Some people turn to the police and in cases of a noisy neighbour, that's often enough to turn down the volume - and the tension. But in the case of a business that's bugging you after hours, you have to contact the city's Municipal Licensing and Standards Dept.
First what the bylaw actually says:
It prohibits loudspeakers or other amplification devices from reaching high levels anywhere in the city between 11pm and 7am and before 9am on Sundays and stat holidays.
If a nearby business is disturbing the peace during those times, an investigator or officer is assigned to do an investigation. They go to the site...with a noise meter to determine if the noise is outside the acceptable levels. If necessary, they issue a notice of violation or order to have that situation corrected.
The complainants are anonymous.

We have a date for the park re-opening, Tuesday June 5th at 7pm in the park. Councillor Bussin will be there and there will be a special dedication ceremony. Members of ELF will be there (East Lynn Park Foundation) to talk about phase 2. Also ELF has teamed up with the Danforth East Community Association (DECA) to form an expanded resident's association whose borders go from Coxwell to Main and Mortimer to the CN tracks. DECA will be answering questions and signing up new members so if you want to help out or be a part of a committee, be there!!!

Keep watching here for the date in the coming weeks. There will be an official opening of the park once the sod and trees and teeter-totter back in. Great way to re-connect with neighbours after the summer and learn more about the resident's association!

Recently spotted: five teens in hoodies smoking wacky tobacky in the park. But they disappeared quickly when a bunch of families went to play soccer in the park...
Great to see the park full of people chatting, dogs & kids playing, when the power went out. No power, no problem!
