I've heard about the planned Farmer's Market and I have a few concerns about this.

Parking....always a huge issue in this area. Living right across the street from the part and very close to Danforth, I often can't find parking on my street...how will parking be monitored and enforced? Will Off Duty police be required and who will pay them? Will a volunteer from the committe do this and if so, what authority will they have.

Cleanup...who will be responsible to clean up the park after the market? It's very logical that the vendor is responsible but who will monitor that? What if they don't clean up? Will they be fined or not allowed back?

Danforth businesses...we have been encouraged to make use of the businesses on the Danforth...restaurants, shops, markets, etc. However, with the Market coming, how will that affect all the little fruit and vegetable shops on Danforth? Isn't this contradictory to what we've been encouraging the community to do?

The more I think about the Market, the more I would have to voice my opposition to it.
