Hope this isn't a sore subjuct but when I saw the Subway commericial it made me think back to my tour in the military in Chicago. I remember 103.5 the Blaze radio station. They played the hell out of Alias. I went and bought the album and played it til it wore out. I have been trying to find the CD for years now. Every store I go to says they don't make it anymore. One it's hard to understand how such a taleted band could make one of the best albums I've ever heard and then break up over " Creative differences" bullshit. I don't get it. Everytime this happens the whole band splits and no one makes it on their own. They have the people who knew them before to follow them. But that is a small percentage of the people they touched as a whole when they TOGETHER touched more people. Call it greed or corporate SHIT but ALIAS worked. Maybe they were forced together and hated each other. But we little people put up with more shit on a daily basis than the much more talented and self indulged will ever see in our daily lives. If I quit every job I ever had because of creative differences I would have a new job every day. Sorry to Bitch but I hate getting attached to a band and after one amazing album hear " Well we made Millions in sales and tour reciepts but just can't come together on our Direction. Something put them together long enough to make a shitload of our money dammit now do IT Again and make more of it. IF not for you but for the people who believed in you from the start. No one makes it without a few people who liked you or you would still be in a garage or bar somewhere. But if that was where you wanted to be then fine.......I'm getting off of my soapbox now. I still love the ONE ALIAS album that was released and whould someday DIE to see another. But I guess I will have to live in the past and just enjoy what I have and continue to squeeze my head in a vice and talk to the brick wall about what could have been. Later Alias fan for LIFE.. Brian Taylor...........................
