Smartphone Consultant needed
Our Greensboro, NC client is seeking a Mid to Senior level consultant with 5 years + experience in one or more of the following:

Exchange Server with Windows 2000 or 2003.

Mobile Devices experience with smart Phones wireless connectivity needed. Client is thinking of using Microsoft Smart phones such as Samsung i600 or Motorola Mpx200.

Project is to create wireless connectivity using smart phones for sales people to access Outlook and other contact inf. Pilot project is starting with 10 people to eventually grow to 200 users. This is a 6 month + project.

Need someone who has an understanding of what the devices can and can't do and the pro's and cons of which one to use in the pilot.

Will need to perform end user training with Sales team.

Should know enterprise architecture and have broad skills in networking, firewalls, DMZ.

What is the going rate for Network Engineer to accomplish this? Can a Network Engineer do this or does it have to be done by and Architect or Developer in terms of "creating" a wireless connectivity using smartphones to access outlook?
