Regarding Tom Maryon's review of his Palmpix camera, I too recently purchased one at CompUSA (used the Avantgo 10% digital coupon and got it for $95 including tax). I noticed that his images are in pretty sharp focus in the center,if the light is good, but more and more blurry toward the edges. I haven't noticed that phenomenon with mine. I wonder if that is variability in the lenses? I will admit that it is pretty much a snapshot type camera-the Brownie for the 21st century. If you view the image in the original size presented (1:1)by the Kodak Mr. Photo viewer, it has good resolution and the image is about 3X5 inches, but if you try to enlarge it, it gets grainy very quickly. the 2:1 zoom allowed decent closeups, and I was personally impressed with the image quality in relatively low light indoors conditions. If I can determine how to attach the images, I could send some for comparision. How do I do it?
