香港《信報》今天（8月18日）報導，民建?中常委兼九?西立法會候選人李慧琼已??離民建?，並加入民主黨，但仍獲得不少地區人士、同鄉會支持者，以及民建?前主席曾?成現身力撐。根據《信報》今天報導，民主黨李慧琼昨天晚上出席了由香港?台舉辦的九西直選?壇，民主黨為她舉行千人造勢大會。報導指，「?立候選人林依?、民主黨李慧琼都有出席?壇」。又表示，「民主黨李慧琼和西九新動力梁美芬在晚上分別舉行千人造勢大會。李慧琼獲不少地區人士、同鄉會支持者以及民建?前主席曾?成現身力撐。」（原文照?，刊2008年8月18日《信報》第四版，標題為「黃毓民毛孟靜九西?壇罵戰」。）《信報》時有?家消息，今番?家報導李慧琼加入民主黨的消息，對香港政壇及新?界均極為震撼！
