EACH CONTESTANT NEEDS TO BRING AT LEAST ONE PAIR WITH YOU WHEN YOU REGISTER,AND ALL SPECTATORS ATTENDING OUR PAGEANT CAN BRING A NEW WRAPPED PAIR OF SLIPPER SOCKS TO THE PAGEANT AND GET IN FOR FREE(A $5.00 SAVINGS)GRAB A BOX OR BAG AND START COLLECTING NEW SLIPPER SOCKS FROM FRIENDS,FAMILY, CO - WORKERS.LAST YEAR AT OUR CHRISTMAS PAGEANT WE COLLECTED OVER 250 PAIRS OF NEW UN USED SLIPPER SOCKS AND WE VISITED 2 NURSING HOMES AND HANDED THEM OUT WITH SANTA AND WE ALSO WERE ABLE TO SEND THEM OUT WITH THE MEALS ON WHEELS FOOD DELIVERIES AND WE MADE SOME OLDER ADULTS VERY HAPPY. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE SLIPPER SOCKS THIS YEAR SO WE CAN MAKE EVEN MORE SMILING FACES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!!!!THE ONE CHILD THAT BRINGS THE MOST NEW UN USED WRAPPED (PLEASE LABEL THEM MENS OR WOMENS AND ONLY WRAP ONE PAIR EVEN IF YOU PURCHASE THEM AS A SET OF 2 OR MORE PAIRS) SLIPPER SOCKS WILL BE AWARDED A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL CROWN AND A SASH AND TROPHY AND THEY WILL WIN THE ONCE A YEAR SHINING STARS OF AMERICA SLIPPER SOCK KING OR QUEEN TITLE.LAST YEAR WE WERE EVEN ON THE NEWS, THEY SHOWED US VISITING THE NURSING HOME AND VISITING THE RESIDENTS.
