Ah! Yes, Philip, beautiful snowflakes. One of my favorite subjects, and you speak of their birth so wonderfully. :)

Here is one I wrote a little over a week ago. Hope you like it. :)

Love,

Gems of snowflakes

"For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
KJV Job 37 : 6

Seven angels send us snow flakes
when the night is cold and dark.
From pure heaven's sprinkling glow shakes
'round our heads all through the park.
Needles, bundles, sheaths and columns
pyramids, cups, bullets, make.
Pretty crystal, glowing snow comes
decorates earth's cold dark ache.

When these shapes are put together
sparkling in a moon glow's beam
misty frost from snowy weather
showers us with crystal dreams.
Although each one is sparkling white
dancing in a silver beam
majestic specks of magic night
make nature's kiss a sweet dream.

And as I run and dance and sing
amidst the glory of night's dew.
My lips rejoice in frosty sting
I shout in joy, God, I love you.
Under my crown of frosty hair
I feel the royalty of
nature's shower of pure white air
when all of heaven dumps love,

In gems of snowflakes.
