Message On A Nameless Night
I stumbled down the path I saw before me
it was dark, the chill was like a frozen sea
I could not see the way to go,
trusting in my inner soul
I knew not why I came this way
I heard His voice, the words He had to say
'My child go down this way ahead
You have nothing to fear or dread
There is one who shivers in the cold
Tho young her heart feels very old
I have plans for her she does not see
You must go,
give her warmth which comes from Me'
I stumbled on the way not clear
but I could tell there was someone very near
I thought of the Shepherd who went for His sheep
and over them softly He did weep
I bowed to touch her hair so fair
frozen she felt from the cold, cold air
'Oh daughter don't you know I care for you
I shall lead the way, you know not what to do,
I have seen your tears, felt your dying breath,
but your life is not over, oh no, not yet
I am your Father, have sent you this one
with love from my heart to you, most cherished dove'
Those words poured forth from my lips to her heart
I knew they were not mine, from a Higher One who will never part
I felt His compassion so deep and pure,
it flowed from me, almost more than I could endure
boundless love for this one so abused,
Life has cheated her, she has been so used
Suddenly I felt something from on high,
beyond expression, it fell like a deep sigh
I felt her lapse in my arms right there
giving Him all of her deep burdens and cares
Oh Lord my God, how I praise your name
You care for each of us, forever the same
You have chosen human vessels to bear your love
Imparting healing and peace to others, from above
