Thanks for your reply to my questions.

You are right that for some people, smoking is a very erotic sight and experience. Not for everyone, but for some of us. I happen to think that it makes an already pleasurable practice even more wonderful. Depending on how you look at it, this is a great blessing, or a curse. It is a curse, becuase smoking is undoubtedly very, very bad for your health. On the other hand, while you are able to truly enjoy it, the erotic aspect of smoking transforms this otherwise ordinary act into an extra pleasure that few people will even be aware of.

If you can keep your smoking down to a low amount, good for you. However, don't be surprised if you find yourself becoming an addicted smoker, smoking as much as a pack a day or more.

In my experience, what may make the difference for you is when you find a few smoking friends, and even more, when you enter the adult world ... at college or in a job ... and become known by people outside your family as a smoker. If you have co-workers or college friends who smoke, they will think of you as one of them, and will expect you to smoke with them. This will make smoking a social experience, and you will feel accepted in a way that you may have never felt before. At 16, 17, or 18, you will find yourself sharing the smoking experience with older people you would never give a second thought to ... and they will see you not as a kid, but as a friend.

If and when that happens, let us all know, and tell us how you feel about it. Those of us who went throught these experiences years ago will probably enjoy reliving it through your descriptions.

Good luck!
