Hi everyone,
I'm Helena from Italy, I'm 18 years old and I'm new to this board.
So to introduce myself I'm going to tell you how is my life as a smoker (if I can say already that I'm a smoker...).

The very first cigarette I smoked in my life was on last Fabruary, in a trip I made with my friends. One of those friends (one not very close to me, because he is now using drugs and I hate that) offered me a cigarette to try it. In fact I didn't even smoke the hole cigarette that time... only 3 drags from the cigarette, inhaled with no problem.

Since then, I passed months thinking about when would be the right momment to smoke another cigarette.

That momment came last August, when I bought my first pack of cigarettes (Marlboro Reds) without telling anyone (yes, my parents are the greatest anti-smokers I have ever seen in my life, and closer friends also hate smoking and would never accept me doing it). I was on hollidays and my parents were working so I could smoke some cigarettes durring the day. At first, those cigarettes were making my very dizy and I was also feeling sick, but with the time I got used to them.

It took my a bit less then a month to finnish that first pack.

Then, my classes started again and I lost my smoking momments.

Fortunatly I found out that my university shedule was not that bad and after a month I bought another pack of Marlboro Reds (this was in the middle of October).

I've been smoking that pack since then, when I came early from university and I have some hours before my parents get back to home from work.
The pack is almost finnished (only 4 cigarettes left) and next week I'll buy another pack.
I'm thinking about trying another brand this time (L&M Blue Label). They are light cigarettes but I think they fit better for a bigginer like me. In fact I'm already complete used to Marlboro Reds but they are to strong and I haven't felt any pleasure since I started smoking them.
I think that with a light cigarette I'll be able to smoke more and the pleasure will come faster. After that I might probably go back to Marlboro Reds.

So this is my life as a smoker... a short one, but I hope it will get bigger and last many years.
