I don't know what it's like behind your garage, but watch out. I have an older cousin who did that a few years ago. but she just tossed one of her butts to the ground and walked away. It was summer and dry out so about half an hour later the fire department was called by a neighbor who saw smoke coming from behind the garage. The cig had started a fire in the grass that was beginning to burn the wall. Unfortunately, she had left many other cig butts laying around so it wasn't hard to figure out what happened. We all laugh about it now, but at the time I thought her Mom & Dad were going to kill her.
