 Hello gang...another gr8 board thx to Linda! I am 16 and have wanted 2 start smokin for a few months! I have mild asthma and have thought about the consequences of smokin. It's a bad choice 4 my lungs and my heart but it's sooo fun.

B4 lighting my 1st cig I knew I wanted to start but also knew I had a lot 2 think about. I wanted 2 start last month but chickened out. I finally lit my first cigarette two weekends ago. Before coming 2 this board (actually the old board) I was afraid 2 try smoking.

I decided 2 take the advise of a few posters and start slow. A few people suggested I start with an ultra light brand to help with my asthma. Altho my asthma has been under control the last 2 years I thought that was a good idea and waited until I was with Mckinzie. She is one of the few ultra light smokers I hang out with regularly. I forget if they were Merit or Marlboro but I know they were ultra lights. I think they were Merit but all I remember is that the box was part blue.

If any1 know some1 who has asthma who wants to smoke it again as bad for them as it seems (as long as they aren't havin attacks daily). Smokin is such an adult thing 2 do and it's so much fun. I never realized how much I would enjoy it.
