I just came back from a date with a guy I met at a friend's party last weekend. He's a nice guy, but so, so boring. Ugh!
When we met at the party, we talked for awhile about music, and we both have pretty similar tastes. When he asked me for my phone #, I was happy to give it to him. He's a non-smoker, but that doesn't really matter much to me.
We went out for dinner and a movie tonight. At dinner, I realized that we didn't have much else in common other than the same taste in music. He spends almost all of his time after school and on weekends playing video games either at home or at local video game centers. He's not active in any school activity, and doesn't like to watch sports, either.
On the way out of the resaurant, I noticed that he glanced at two girls smoking at the bar for a second or two. When we got outside, I asked him if he liked watching girls smoke. He had a look of surprise and embarrassment that I caught him watching the girls at the bar and said "Uh, yeah, kind of". I didn't want him to feel too uncomfortable, so I said that actually, I enjoyed watching guys and girls smoke, too. I told him that Youtube had some videos of girls smoking that he might want to check out,and he thought that sounded cool.
We went to see Spiderman 3, which we both liked, and then he just took me home.
Anyway, I realize that this isn't a terribly interesting post, but I thought I would share my experience. It seems to me that a lot of guys may have at least a little bit of a smoking fetish.
