Subject: our son leaves for Iraq Thursday

Thanks for starting this board. Our son is a LCpl in the USMC, and leaves for Iraq Thursday of this week. Dan and I are in California spending these last few days with him. The last 14 months have certainly been a rollercoaster of emotions, but the Marines have been good for Sean. We are so proud of him!

also, I'd like to invite everyone to become a part of FAITH (Families and Individuals Thanking Heroes). this is a support group we started last August. We meet on the 2nd Thursday evening of the month at Livingston Physical Therapy at 6pm (except for May...we will meet on the 2nd Tuesday as we are having a fund raiser on the Thursday). we have potluck dinner at 6pm, and then fill care packages for our soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, all who have a tie to Polk County. We currently have about 65 service people on our list. We sent out 110 boxes this month. Polk County and God have been great...we run this solely on donations of stuff and money. Folks can drop their donations off at the Livingston PT at any time. I'm available to speak to groups about our project, so if anyone would like me to do that, just call at 327 4084.

Dan and I have a saying at our house..... We Will Pray You Home! we started this for our son, but it applies to ALL of our service people around the world!

Thanks for starting this site. Let us know if we can be of any help!

God Bless Our Troops! and their families too!

Dan and Bea Ellis
