Puckbunny Parlor is actually one of the most popular HP gossip sites there is.
Many people including players, player so's, wives, sports broadcasters and mistresses read and post there.
There are thousands of members.
Just because someone doesn't post there doesn't mean they don't read it.
Time and time again, it's been proven that some posters have inside info on players.
Some call out wannabe nutcases that stalk players, either by chasing them at rinks, at away games, or with children.
Some call out mistresses that carry on affairs with married players.
Some are friends of players and/or their SO's.
Some may even be players themselves.

It's why there is a log in and approval feature - to regulate trolls.
