I agree with this. We did a pageant where the girl that got queen screamed and cried the whole time she was on stage and she kicked her mom on stage and had to be carried off still kicking and screaming. Nothing to score but very bad behavior so where did they get their scores. Dont get me wrong My DD didn`t do well but she did stand and smile I didnt expect that she would win but there were other beautiful girls there that should have won. There is something wrong with some of these systems that let things like this happen. And I wont be doing another Pageant in this system. -- PARENTS FOR FAIR PAGEANTS CLUB

Glitz or natural, pageant kid or mall kid, nothing. Anyone could win BUT alot of times, it's the custom clothes that win. Last year, at nat'ls, they called the name of a kid that went home early and didn't do beauty but somehow she got top 10. Some said well she may have scored well in interview but since interview is only part of your score, she woulld have to have scored better in interview alone than most of the age group did in both together. Plus, they NEVER give scores. I have called and asked just for my dds score to be told to me over the phone.They could have lied to me but they wouldn't even tell me comments that were made.
