Griffin 4th of July ParadeOur first big day together is the 4th of July! Everyone please make sure you get your car or truck ready and make posters to go on each side of the car. You can decorate your ride with RWB designs and please dress for the weather. You do not have to wear your pageant dresses, wear Something cute and casual but no jeans, A nice sundress or short set for the young girls is fine. Wear your sash and crown and get ready to wave to everyone!
We will line up infront of GTOs at 551 N Expressway at 9AM, we will then precede up the street to Griffin Tech parking lot to finish lining up and join the other participants, the parade will begin at 10AM. Also make sure and bring bottled water and wear sunscreen. The parade usually last about 45minutes- 1hour once it starts.
Bring candy to throw!!!
Other events we will be having this year are; the Winter Special Olympics where queens will be asked to walk the athletes out on the field for opening day ceremonies, Griffin Christmas parade, our Family Christmas banquet for queens and their families, Caring Crowns projects, meeting the governor, and many other events!
