Subject: Scrapping of Economics discipline at UPNG

Scraping of Pure Economics discipline at the university of Papua New Guinea take PNG one step back in educatine professional economist. Economics is a major discipline and cant be combined with business. Economics discipline takes indepth look at relationships using econometrics tactics etc.. which business economics dont take into account. Empirical studies are done using econometrics techniques and surely scrapping away of economics discipline will tone down aspiring researchers and economists.
