Subject: I do not know Raeanna personally, but having attended Miss Wisconsin this year, she certainly seemed to do everything right . . . beautiful talent, awesome stage presence, great body (thought she would probably win swimsuit in her group), and seemed very articulate with her on-stage question. Going into this, she had to know that this was her pageant to loose. I don't know what she possibly could have gained by being standoffish or rude to the other contestants. I always felt she would win this with a quiet confidence. I am wondering if knowing this was her pageant to loose made the other contestants ill at ease, and that they were the ones that separated themselves from her. Subject Author Date Raeanna was a gem all week. I think the girls and others are holding against her that she was a Miss Wisconsin already and may not have thought it was fair. I think that we should start supporting Raeanna because I believe she will do very well at Miss America and be a fabulous representative for our state. (NT) No name 12:50:00 07/03/14 Thu I agree. And as I said, I think she has great stage presence. I'm not sure what more you could ask of a Miss America hopeful. That sums up the mentality of some people, so I just dismiss it as somewhat childish. Others that I felt were near the top include Holmen, Heart of WI, Harbor Cities, Onalaska, St. Francis, and Heart of the Valley, and Oshkosh (mainly because her talent costume was so appropriate with her performance). I felt that Raeanna was the clear winner on Wednesday night, with Holmen, HOW, and Oshkosh all coming in a close second. I felt that Thursday night's winner could have been either Harbor Cities, Onalaska, or HOTV. I was surprised there wasn't a tie that night. What we should appreciate about our state pageant, is that the contestants for the most part come to this competiton well-prepared and their talents are exceptional. That is not the case if you've been watching some of these other pageants like Texas for instance.
