I do enter into a somewhat Zen-like state as I walk behind my lawnmower. (I hope there aren't millions of little chlorophyll voices crying out in their decapitation! I was never one to talk to plants; and in this instance I'm sure it's just as well.)But there is a sense of accomplishment once the yard looks trim and tidy. I don't suppose I could get that same feeling from hosing down a yard filled with green cement.
