I met someone recently who was very enthusiastic about a wonderful Guru she had visited in India, how powerful she was, especially. The biggest thing was that this 'Guru' had told her that she had got annoyed with humanity and during that annoyance had created the Tsunami that killed all those thousands. I already knew of this 'Guru' so I knew how big a fake she was, but I still cannot fathom how anyone could not only believe such rubbish but actually feel the 'Guru' worthy of respect. Worshipping a pseudo-mass murderer, basically.
She has since begun to have doubts. I could have told her the reason the 'Guru' invited her to her ashram in India was because she is interested in Indian spirituality.........and has quite a bit of money.

sorry, drifting from the point a bit, but what you posted reminded me.
