Thanks Johnny. I have yet to fully figure out the Jesus myth, but I am working on it. The pastor writes:

"Shocking as it may seem to the general populace who have not done these serious studies, the most enduring and profound controversy in this subject is whether or not a person named Jesus Christ ever really existed historically in the first century or if his depiction in the New Testament is nothing more than a parody on the worship of the Sun in which a man called Christ is presented as an allegory of the path of the Sun through the Zodiac as well as other stars and constellations!"

He and so many who've woken up to the fact that the Jesus in the N.T. is a Solar god seem to then dismiss it all as primitive, pagan nonsense. My own epiphany revealed to me that the Solar mythologies are contain important "Truths"!

These solar god myths appear to be warning us about the precession of the equinoxes.

There's a book called "Hamlet's Mill" written by M.I.T. professor Georgio de Santillana and University of Frankfurt professor Bertha von Dechend that shows that Shakespeare's Hamlet was based on an earlier Danish myth that was really an allegory about the precession.

San Francisco State University professor, Dr. Susan Lea (author of Physics: The Nature of Things) co-authored a paper entitled COSMOLOGIES AND WORLDVIEWS that discussed the significance of Hamlet’s Mill:

“…all these myths aim to explain precession: the mill represents the rotation of the celestial sphere; the mill axle is the polar axis and the theme of the breaking of the mill represents the precession. Time is cyclic, (cf the quote from Aristotle) and is divided into a series of World Ages. During each age the vernal equinox lies in one constellation; at the end of the age the vernal equinox moves into the next constellation. Each age ends with a catastrophic event, frequently involving a flood or water in some way. This is where the Hamlet tragedy fits in.“

Note also that the Age of Pisces (that began at Jesus' birth - aka the "FISHer of men") is ending and it is the Age of Aquarius that is just about to begin - the Age of Aquarius is known as the "Water Bearer".

The Roman Catholic Church appears to have been well aware of the Solar story - and they did their best to hide it from humanity by convincing the world that the allegories about Jesus' life were literal history.

Now I tend to think that Jesus was a real enlightened person as dipicted in the Gospels of Thomas and other "gnostic" gospels kept out of the N.T. by Rome, but that they took his life story and changed much of it to fall in line with the Roman Sun gods.

But this doesn't in and of itself make the N.T. bad - what is "bad" is that they tried their best to keep it hidden from us.

There is a book:

"The Two Babylons"
subtitled: or The Papal Worship Proved to be the Worship of Nimrod and His Wife
By the Late Rev. Alexander Hislop

He states that in Revelations, the "whore of Babylon" is the Catholic Church; also referred to as "MYSTERY, Babylon the Great". My thinking is that he is probably correct - and that the "Mystery" refers to the allegorical meanings of the N.T., kept hidden by the church.
