What feasibility are we talking about here? Length? How long does it have to be to be called a novel? Publication/ will anyone like it? Does this matter? I don't see any reason why one can't write a novel if they so choose, irregardless of how awful/short/pointless it turns out to be. If you've no standard to live up to, then there's no reason why you couldn't write one.
Then again the novel Dibs was probably referring to would probably take too much time, be far too stressing, and generally not worth it. I don't think that demeans the former kind of novel, though.
