Things here are different from your life style. First, kids do not usually leave their parents' house until they are married. Second, it is not very unusual for parents to keep sponsering their kids even when they become adults as long as they are still studying, at least this is the case for people who can afford it.. but when the parents are poor, kids usually quit school and help in supporting the family.
My son still has 1 year to graduate and I was hoping I will be relieved from his allowance soon.. but. the only job he could find is not paying very well .. and to answer Johnny's question.... the girl he wants to marry is still too young to help financially.. she is still a student in high school... she is only 17, my son is 21.
