exactly. Im anti lots of things, but Im not sure what Im pro.

Even the monarchy. I went and saw Tony Benn speak years ago on it, and whilst being totally in agreement about the need to get rid of the iniquity, there was no decent alternative being pushed.
The best i can think of is a President like in Ireland, which is more ceremonial.

As for capitalism and consumerism, I really think with it floating on an ocean of credit, much of it bad, the bubble will burst, and no-one has a clue what the consequences will be, but you can be sure it will devastate the poorer countries most.
I am for fair trade, though. thats a great idea, but it just isnt catching on as much as it should amongst those who can afford it.
