I wish I knew. After that epiphany, I quit my job looking to do the same thing. I am still searching. Right now I am of the mind that my search is more or less over. All I can do now is avoid work that will do harm.

But I will say 'good for you' for not wanting to help students fit into the machine! :-)

p.s. On the note about inorganic material being alive - shamans all teach that everything is alive and has a consciousness, even rocks. And the Hindus teach that "all is consciousness" - this study pretty much bears these ideas out.
