Hello, my name is Lisa Dean. I spoke to you earlier today on the telephone. You asked me to give a Bio with greater detail. I am sending that to you now.

My name is Lisa Dean. I am 35 years old. I am a graduate of Southside High School in Greenville, SC. After Graduation, I attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where I studied Broadcast Communications. I also studied at The Academy of Hair Technology in Greenville, SC where I received my cosmetology and make up artistry license. The Academy of Hair Technology leads the Southeast in teaching pivot point and trending styles. The Academy recently went to Russia to the Hair Olympics where they came in 3rd in the world. I have also attended Tri County Technical College where I studied Interior Design. As a young lady I attended Millie Lewis Finishing School where I learned the proper way to walk, model, apply make up and style hair. While I attended classes there, I also learned about what different necklines, hemlines, sleeves, bias cuts, colors and fabrics that flatter certain body types. I also learned proper etiquette, interviews do's and dont's. At the end of the year, we performed a runway show finale. It was great! I am only 4'11 so that is probably the closest I will ever get to the runway. I competed in several pageants including Miss Freshman - Miss Senior at my High School. I was voted audience pick my junior year. I competed in America's Teen at 15. I also won my state title for Miss Petite USA but had to for go my chances at Nationals because of health problems. As a child I took dance and as a teen I took piano. I was involved in several activities such as the interact club and the yearbook staff. My senior year I was hand picked from my guidance counselors and principal to represent our school in the DARE program where 4-5 seniors go to different elementary and middle schools to talk about saying no to drugs and focusing on your schoolwork and the development of your character. It was one of the highlights of my life. At 21, I took classes at John Casablanca Modeling and Acting School in Charlotte, NC. While there I learned on a deeper level the proper way to walk, how to use clothing as accessories while walking the runway, makeup and hair for photo shoots, and what clothing color, and prints photograph the best. I had jobs with petite sophisticate and glamour shots as a live model. I have worked as a cosmetologist and make up artist for the past several years and have now decided to open up a bridal and formal wear boutique. I want to provide affordable bridal gowns, pageant wear both for adults and kids, prom wear and bridesmaid dresses. I have judged several pageants from Sunburst Pageants, Southern Elite, and Royal Beauty. I also plan to go to Columbia in April to get training to be eligible to judge Miss America Pageants statewide. I am a pageant coach and I love it. Currently, I am working with a little girl whose pageant career is just beginning. I am so proud and can't wait to see her take the stage. We have a common bond. She has a learning disability as do I. I began competing in pageants to boost my self esteem, to dress up and feel pretty, and to become comfortable around other people. I hope she can gain the same growing experiences that I did. I support many different charities such as: Susan G. Koman, Neurofibromatosis Foundation, NAMI, The Upstate Homeless Coalition of South Carolina, The Cinderella Project and many others. I am a recent newlywed to my husband Joe, who does voice overs. He has also worked in radio. We have one dog. A Boston Terrier named Bentley. I enjoy cooking, decorating, and helping others feel good about themselves and taking Sunday walks downtown with my family. I love music, movies, fashion and theater. I very much like you to consider me to judge your pageant. Thank You.

Lisa Dean

I charge $50 per pageant. If traveling over four hours I will for gas and accommodations to be provided. If pageant last more than one day I will charge 200 for whole weekend.
