and I am glad for you if it amused you. To me, it is a distortion of facts. I am very tired of Hollywood types telling me what is going on. They do not live in the real world, imo.

All this debate is now moot. Mass has just changed the rules again so they can appoint a replacement for Ted Kennedy. Voila! The democrats now have a super majority again and do not need one republican vote to pass whatever version of health care reform they want. If, indeed, 80% of Americans want this bill, then they should be happy soon.
Please don't think for a minute that I do not want everyone to have affordable health care. I do. Especially since it isn't going to raise the deficit one dime, isn't going to cover any abortions and isn't going to cover any illegal immigrants.

Why, abortions are going to be mandatory if you have a certain number of children and your income is under a certain level! And, hell yeah, we're gonna cover every single illegal immigrant in this country because everyone knows that we care more for them than legal citizens! And, gee, hope you're not too attached to your parents, grandparents, or the idea of growing old - because we're gonna mandate just how long you can stay alive. And the deficit? Who cares? It's already high, what's a few more gazillion dollars?

I'm only agreeing with you. Everyone knows there's no language in the proposal that specifically states that no illegal aliens will be covered, and that the plan will not cover abortions. But still people just keep on saying it.
I'm kind of tired of the shit as well.
