It has made for some very "interesting" discussions in our household. LOL

I think some people read too much into the "pledge commercial". It's simply some well-known people pledging to do more for the planet & their fellow man. Only one odd duck pledges directly to Obama, in those words. The others pledge to be a servant of the President of the United States and to all mankind. What a nice cult that would be. And the pledge to the President is a pledge made by every serviceman & woman when they are sworn in, as far as I know. Or am I wrong on that?

as I recall - Lord knows I said it five times and should remember, lol, the military swear to protect and defend the constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic, obey the orders of the POTUS and officers appointed over them.

Not quite the same thing, but I see your point.
