why do i think this is hilarious? maybe it's just cuz i'm feeling patriotic today. I think it is wonderful that the President was heckled at Monticello welcoming new citizens into our United States of America.

I guess i'm just proud that there are still kids that will risk the Secret Service to chant WARMONGER at our commander in chief.

I find it amusing that many of the very same people who found it disrespectful and wrong for the "Dems" (that's really too general) to tear down Bush are doing it now to Obama. If it was wrong before, shouldn't it be wrong now?

Just for the record, I didn't like it when people spewed hate about Bush, either. It is entirely unproductive. I'll listen to a rational argument - even better, an idea for improvement - any day. As soon as I read generalizations and terms like "brainwashing" - I've just tuned out everything else.

I'm just saying after 8 years of hearing trash talk about Bush it has unfortunately become the norm these day.

I felt this was when we hit an all time low. Total disrespect for the Presidency.

I admittedly felt bad for him when I first saw that when it aired. People seem to have way too much energy to expend on childish chants and hate. I don't care who it is directed towards. I thought it took away from the positive, history making aspects of the day and was entirely unnecessary. We are all free to feel however we want to, and obviously free to shout out how we feel, but out of respect for another human being as well as for themselves, I'm disappointed that was the chosen behavior for those who participated.
