Subject: I was unimpressed with the article

The writer sounds like a little twit. He ticked me off a few sentences in with "I flicked my cigarette out into the rain" WTF- you are a Yale grad and you haven't yet figured out not to throw GARBAGE out into the street?

And his post-911 comments:
"A difficult month follows. Nothing is the same. Like everyone around me, I feel confused and angry and lost. I suffer from panic attacks and I begin drinking more than I swore I ever would.”"
There are end quotes, but no begining quotes. He doesn't mention that he knew anyone in 911 but still he has panic attacks and decides to DRINK more? He already referred his drinking buddies, hangovers, and downing a beer at the White House in 2 minutes, and he starts drinking more- Dude, you have a problem.

And of course how dare the president have dinner and movie with his family. Typical of most Vanity Fair articles. I wonder what this guys degree is in- drinking?

I used to LOVE Vanity Fair. I would read it cover to cover and eagerly checked the mail when I knew it was coming. Now - I check out their photos online - they still have good ones. Other than that, blech. Sure hope Barbara has better friends than this little opportunist.

You bees mean to FOUR groups in that one sentence:

* gays
* Texans
* Republicans
* twits

Bad Jay Jay. Bad, bad Jay Jay!

it took some thought to get all that political incorrectness into one small sentence ;-)
