because your post is laughable.

First of all, I don't know one person who denies that PRESIDENT OBAMA is the president. I also do not recall anyone saying that only Democrats are criminals.

Second, as far as how graceful you were when GEORGE W. BUSH - and his name is not Junior, well, if memory serves, that is some sort of self-delusion on your part. This post, and your previous posts illustrate that.

Joe the Plumber!!!!!! The only reason he is "high profile" is because Obama went to his house UNSOLICITED and gave a stupid answer to his question. He is now one of your demons. How stupid is that? And by the way, Spiro Agnew has been dead for 13 years. Get over it.

As far as never having such political acrimony before President Bush was in office, may I suggest you take a couple of classes? Might be a good idea. Or read up on the administrations of Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, Harry Truman and Bill Clinton, to name a few. You might want to re-think the "most DIVISIVE" part of your post after you do some reading.

Your idea of "mending fences" seems to be for everyone to accept that you are right and have no conflicting opinions. You might want to remember that by definition when 53% vote one way, 47% vote another way.

You have absolutely NO RIGHT to tell me how to feel or what to do. If I want to disagree with him, I will. It is my right. You can worship at the altar of the 44th President if you like, put don't save room for me in the pew. I will respect and support the office he holds, but I will NEVER accept as right policies that I strongly believe are bad for this country.

WOW. Jeanine - you really have gotten very sensitive.

I listed the people that I did as a result of the allusion that all these Dems are tax-evading criminals. I'm certainly not saying that ONLY those folks or ONLY republicans are. Just the opposite. I am sick of people pointing fingers and naming parties.

In the 20th century, our country got along with itself for the most part. Political discussions in social situations were not taboo, and they were not accusatory. Now I fear bringing up politics with anyone that I don't know well for fear of offending them, and I bite my tongue if they're brought up to me.

I don't expect fences to be mended just by way of everyone converting to my beliefs. Nor Obama's. However, at least he's trying!! He's willing to compromise. He's already admitted to the fact that things are going to get worse before they get better rather than saying everything's hunky-dory as your Bush (ps, not Jr as in the same name, Jr as in his father's SON, sorry I was too abstract for you) did, and he's looking for a real, long-term solution. He wants to TALK to Iran rather than a knee-jerk declaration of war or sanctions such as we saw in Iraq.

I am not telling you HOW TO FEEL. Except not to take what I said so personally, it was not an attack, and certainly not an attack on you. Otherwise you can feel as you like. And of course you can disagree with him.

But to blame Obama for his initial appointees' lack of IRS responsibility is just silly. I'm just waiting for Cheney's trials for Halliburton/KBR corruption and abuse of power charges. And that's Cheney's own fault, not Bush's.

Obama never went "unsolicited" to Joe the Plumber's house. Check the videotape. Joe the Plumber pushed through a crowd to ask his dishonest question to which he got an intelligent answer. It is the right who has given Joe the Plumber his "high profile" and made him into a celebrity. And stop with the personal insults. Calling someone else's post "laughable" isn't exactly civil. I don't know why anyone would listen to the GOP after the disaster they and their failed policies have wrought on this country. After creating this unholy mess we find outselves in, they have decided to obstruct every attempt made to remedy it. They have NO credibility as far as the economy goes. Obama has made an honest effort to be bipartisan. Polls show the country is behind him and the stimulus plan. This is uncharted territory for this country. Nobody is guaranteeing success, but people are losing their jobs and their money and most economists think something must be done. It is galling to be lectured by the people who took a surplus and turned it into the largest national debt ever. And you can continue to worship at the altar of the 43rd president, but I think he was worst president in my lifetime. The Republicans have no answers or solutions, just criticism.
